• how are you characterising fitness? in what environments?
• do you narrow your idea of fitness enough to be computationally useful? (I'd be surprised. this is too broad a paper.)

  • exaptation (in particular, because of the way the introduction discusses the tapetum lucidum; and also because I think exaptation is cool and useful)
